Woolton Area Guide

Woolton Village has the distinction of being the first urban village ever to win the Britain in Bloom 'Best Large Village' award and is one of the most prestigious areas of Liverpool.

There is a wealth of history in the area dating back to the Iron Age, remnants of which lie within Camp Hill, right up to more recent times including the local church where Eleanor Rigby, of Beatles fame, is reputed to be buried.
