Local Auction House Pioneers The Way For The City's Property Offering

Firmly placing Liverpool on the property map, Sutton Kersh have yet again secured over 80% of on-the-day sales and generated more than £8 million in property sales.

With over £2.6 million worth of property being sold before the auction had begun, and a flurry of 65 telephone bidders, their largest auction of the year was off to an explosive start with the first lot being sold for over two-times the guide price.

Held on Thursday 19th of July at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool, Sutton Kersh was joined again by go-to property show, Homes Under the Hammer. Caroline from Lyon TV, HUtH producers, expressed her enthusiasm for the day, explaining that she was impressed with the turnout and the number of successful bids on the day.

"It's always good to see local properties being sold at the auction, but today we had some amazing interest for property lots that are located further afield." said Associate Director, Cathy Holt.

"Our summer auction is always one to look out for, as it’s typically our largest of the year - this one being no exception."

"I'm happy to say that we've sold over 80% of our advertised properties - a figure that consistently remains above average for the region."

Katie Donohue, Senior Valuer at Sutton Kersh, added "We really had our work cut out for this auction with over 144 lots being advertised, but it couldn’t have been more worth it."

"Seeing the auction room full of serious bidders who want to invest in the region’s property is always a pleasure."
