Sutton Kersh auction attracts 129 lots

A Lodge house, development land and a range of investment opportunities are among the 129 lots up for grabs at the next Sutton Kersh auction in Liverpool on Wednesday, 9 April.

The vacant detached two storey Lodge within Clarke Gardens in Woolton, is a curtilage listed building within the grounds of the Grade II* Allerton Hall. It is being offered on behalf of Liverpool City Council at a guide price of £150,000 plus.

Cathy Holt, Auction Manageress at Sutton Kersh said: ‘This is a unique property in a sought after part of South Liverpool. The fact that it is in need of modernisation is reflected in the guide price, however on completion it will make a highly desirable house.’

Elsewhere, the site of the former Litherland Methodist Church in L21 is being offered with an opportunity for residential development.

Other investment properties include a converted three storey plus basement town house on Beech Street in L7, providing three self contained flats. There is also the potential to provide a further two flats, subject to planning. It is guided at £80,000 to £90,000.
