Sutton Kersh's April auction result positioned it in the top 5 best performing property auction houses in the UK according to statistics released by property journal Estates Gazette.

The Liverpool based auction house featured amongst leading names in the industry including Allsops Residential and Bernard Marcus – a significant achievement for the local independent team.

At its April auction Sutton Kersh sold 91 of the 115 lots on offer and generated total proceeds  of £6.5million taking its total number of sold lots for the year so far to 177 and total proceeds to £11.9 million – a 31% increase and a 34% increase respectively compared to the same period last year.

Cathy Holt, auction manager at Sutton Kersh commented: “We are absolutely over the moon with the news that we have made it into the top five auction houses in the UK. Our results so far this year have been very strong – a reflection of the hard work put in by our team. The upcoming June auction has over 120 lots included and the viewing diary has been incredibly busy so we are hopeful of achieving another good result.”

Sutton Kersh will hold its next auction on the 6th June at the Hilton Liverpool Hotel. The catalogue comprises 123 residential, commercial and land development opportunities from across Merseyside and guide prices start from £10,000+.
