Sutton Kersh to offer 131 lots

Sutton Kersh has attracted 131 lots for its property auction on Thursday 16 April.

Among the lots going under the hammer is a substantial vacant residential property with investment and resale potential on Croxteth Road in Liverpool.

The three storey semi-detached close to Sefton Park and Princes Park has been converted to provide 13 self-contained flats, which could produce annual rental income of over £65,000 when fully let. It is being offered at a guide price of £400,000 plus on behalf of a housing association.

Meanwhile, a vacant three storey Victorian property on Judges Drive in Newsham Park, with full planning permission for conversion into five self-contained flats, is guided at £135,000 plus.

Also available is a vacant three bedroom mid-terrace house on Alverstone Road in Allerton. The property includes double glazing, central heating and new carpets, and is ready for immediate occupation. The guide price is £120,000 plus, which is below current market values and could appeal to first time buyers.

Elsewhere, the former International Social Club on Prescot Road in Fairfield has a guide price of £175,000 plus. It may suit residential redevelopment subject to planning.

In the Tranmere district of Birkenhead five separate plots of land have a declared nil reserve.

Cathy Holt, joint head of auctions at Sutton Kersh says: ‘This is the biggest sale to take place on Merseyside for a long time and presents investors with a vast choice of buying opportunities in all categories.’

The sale takes place at the Crowne Plaza, St Nicholas Place, Pier Head, Liverpool starting at 12 noon.
