The Jam Works sold for £1.9 million

Sutton Kersh Commercial has sold the The Jam Works on Fleet Street in Liverpool City Centre in a deal that values the site at £1.9million.

The six storey residential apartment block comprises 25 apartments on the upper 5 floors, and two commercial units with potential for car parking on the ground and basement floors.

Fleet Street adjoins Hannover Street which is part of Liverpool One; Grovenor's prime retailing development.

Jonathan Owen, director of commercial agency at Sutton Kersh comments "The building is in an area that is popular with both students and young professionals and ideally located to benefit from the the current high levels of demand for rental property in the City Centre.

"The commercial property sector continues to be heavily restricted by the lack of main stream lending and overall economic climate. Despite these factors, there is strong demand from purchasers for particular property types and tenant demand is also seeing similar trends across various sectors and locations."
