West Derby branch goes from strength to strength

The West Derby branch of Sutton Kersh is busier than ever following the successful merger with the firm's Walton office.

The enlarged office now covers the L4, L6, L9, L10, L11, L12, L13, L14, L34 and 36 postcodes from its double fronted unit in the heart of West Derby village, which is open 7 days a week.

Leah O'Neill, Senior Valuer at the West Derby branch said: 'We have a team of twelve experienced staff who have an intimate knowledge of the extended area we cover, which includes Walton, where we continue to sell plenty of properties.

'The unrivalled expertise of our team allows us to accurately advise our customers, with the aim of achieving the best price possible on any property we are instructed to market.'

It's not just local knowledge that Sutton Kersh customers benefit from, says Ms O'Neill.

'We are committed to providing an exceptional level of service from the minute we receive the instruction through to the sale being completed.

'We also provide a wide range of marketing solutions which includes regular press advertising and a presence on the main property web sites, so wherever the buyer is we will find them.

'Customer queries are answered the same day and we provide accurate feedback after every viewing. Our customer satisfaction surveys indicate that people really like that personal touch.'

A major factor behind the merger of the two offices is the significant investment Sutton Kersh has made in its in-house technology systems, website, mobile website and other marketing activities, to adapt to the changing face of house buying.

James Kersh, Director at Sutton Kersh comments: 'The rapid growth of the Internet over the last decade has meant that more and more enquiries are now being received from online portals.

'Recent studies have highlighted that over 80% of home buyers now commence their search online, which is a trend we are also witnessing. Statistics show that our company website www.suttonkersh.co.uk receives over 400,000 page views and 20,000 unique visitors on average every month.

'It is this change in buyer behaviour which enabled us to amalgamate the two offices whilst continuing to efficiently and effectively service both areas.'

The implementation of technology was one of the factors which won Sutton Kersh the silver award at the 2011 Estate Agency of the Year Awards, in the category for Best Small Agency, Northern England.

The judges also highlighted sales progression and commitment to staff training, as well as technology implementation, as 'exemplary.'
